  • Nile projects are encouraged to support 1 person per project (= 4 people).

  • Explore funding options with Nile Project leaders + Alain (Tilahun);
  • (Tilahun) discuss with basin leaders to find out what their ideas about this session would be - to check after submission of abstracts (expect more from African basin on rainwater management);
  • Organise session with other basin leaders on the basis of papers received.

  • Tilahun's paper on rainwater for food sec and climate change adaptation.
  • Expected: Kees Swaans on IPs (for session 3) + 2 papers from N5, 1 paper from N3 and from N4.

  • (Kees/Tilahun) Develop 1 or 2 additional info briefs: 1 on platforms and 1 rainwater/climate change.
